Frequently asked questions

How scans, privacy, billing, and your account work.

How accurate is Calvore?

AI food recognition and portion estimates are approximate and can be wrong. Calvore shows you what it logged and makes correcting any item a one-tap job. There is no accuracy percentage claim.

What happens to my meal photos?

A photo is sent through OpenRouter to an AI model provider to identify foods and estimate portions, then stored in your private, access-controlled account so it appears across your devices. “Improve AI with my scans” is off unless you choose it, and you can change that choice in Profile → Privacy controls → Data controls.

Does Calvore work offline?

Yes. Calvore is local-first, so your diary and common-food data live on your device. Features that need a network—such as AI recognition, full nutrition search, and private cloud sync—resume when you reconnect.

Do I need a subscription?

No. You can use core logging features without a paid subscription. AI photo scans are subject to usage limits. Current subscription options and included access are shown in your local Apple App Store or Google Play listing.

How do I cancel?

Manage or cancel in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and does not retroactively refund the current billing period.

Where can I see current pricing and offers?

Open Calvore’s Apple App Store or Google Play listing. The store shows the current options, localized prices, billing periods, offer eligibility, and renewal terms before you confirm a purchase.

Can I use Calvore on more than one device?

Yes. Sign in to the same private account to back up your data and restore it across supported iOS and Android devices.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Account → Delete account. If you cannot use the app, submit an Account request through the web contact form. Cloud data is permanently deleted after a 30-day recovery window.
